Vax Nevada Kids believes all children have the right to be safe in school, at childcare, and in the communities where they live and play. We recognize the long established, evidence-based science that vaccines are safe, effective, and save lives. We believe we have a shared responsibility to keep our communities healthy, ensure access to healthcare, increase Nevada’s vaccination rates, and decrease the risk of vaccine-preventable diseases.
The majority of us believe in the power and promise of childhood vaccinations. However, there is a loud minority who stands in direct opposition to the science and evidence. We need a strong, collective voice that represents our beliefs.

Vax Nevada Kids is dedicated to improving high vaccination rates as the best way to ensure that all Nevada students and families — including those who cannot be safely vaccinated — are protected from preventable diseases. These diseases are, at minimum, physically and economically harmful. At their worst, they are deadly.
